Scholarship for participation in ECO4VIP course now possible
The ECO4VIP course is listed now in The GUNDTVIG database and can be visited with a scholarship from the EU.
The BFW Düren will carry out an ECO4VIP course from May 3rd, 2009 to May 8th, 2009. This course is listed in the GRUNDTVIG database under Reference Number DE-2009-845-001.
Interested trainers can apply now at their National Agency for a scholasrhip in the GRUNDTVIG Mobility programme to participate in this course. The scholarship usually includes travelcosts and the participation fee. The details for the announced course can be found under the link:

If you are interested in a participation of this course you should contact your national agency and ask for the application forms. The application is simple and takes about 40 minutes to complete the 4-5 pages of the official form. You can find your dedicated NA under:

ECO4VIP pilot course started in May
From May 15th to 16th the face to face session of the developed blended learning course was carried out in the BFW Dueren. Within these two days the participants had their introducing lessons about all aspects of E-Learning with visually and hearing impaired students. In group work and self-explorative sessions with simulation lenses and assistive devices, the participants were introduced in the accessible Learn management system of the project. Furthermore all participants got information how visually impaired users may experience accessibility problems in distance learning situations and how they will be avoided. At the end of these two days of intense learning, the session was rated very positive by all attending E-Learning coaches. Now the pilot course is in the stage of self-determined learning, which is affiliated by weekly online-meetings for tele co-operation. In June all participants will carry out their final examination to become a certified ”Master E-Learning coach” for visually impaired students.

Successfull Meeting of ECO4VIP
The first meeting of the ECO4VIP project consortium from November 6th to 7th, 2006 was successfull. The participants discussed the frame of the curriculum and the content of the final examination for the E-Learning course which will be developed during the project. Furthermore the details for the evaluation were discussed and initiated.
